BRING ME THE HORIZON + SLEEP TOKEN + MAKE THEM SUFFER & DAINE - DOWN UNDER 2024
GOOD THINGS PROVED AU NEEDED MORE… Destroy All Lines & Triple J presents a showstopper.
BMTH gained prominence in the mid-2000s with the release of their debut album "Count Your Blessings" in 2006, which showcased their aggressive and abrasive metalcore sound. Subsequent albums like "Suicide Season" (2008) and "There Is a Hell, Believe Me, I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret" (2010) further solidified their reputation as one of the leading acts in the metalcore scene.
However, it was with their fourth studio album, "Sempiternal" (2013), that Bring Me the Horizon experienced a significant shift in their sound and style. Incorporating more melodic elements and electronic influences, "Sempiternal" marked a new chapter for the band and earned them widespread critical acclaim and commercial success.
Bring Me the Horizon's subsequent albums, including "That's the Spirit" (2015) and "amo" (2019), continued to push the boundaries of their sound, blending heavy riffs with catchy hooks and experimental production techniques.
Bring Me the Horizon have developed a strong relationship with Australian audiences and have toured the country extensively throughout their career. They have performed at major Australian music festivals such as Soundwave Festival, Big Day Out, and the second recent GOOD THINGS festival - as well as headlining their own tours in cities across Australia.
The band's electrifying live performances and passionate fanbase have made them a staple in the Australian music scene, with their albums consistently charting well and their shows drawing large crowds. Bring Me the Horizon's connection with Australia remains strong, and they continue to be a popular and influential force in the country's rock and metal music scene.
Combining Forces with the hugely popular SLEEP TOKEN - who blew us out of the water in 2023 with multiple venue up-graded shows and fans on outrageously long ticket waiting lists - the jump from The Tivoli to Riverstage is one impressive feat in under a year.
With MAKE THEM SUFFER and DAINE in tow - this is set to be one of the biggest shows of the year.
