This is my call out to the powers that be: Please let me get my camera in front of Fontaines D.C again after my 2023 FLOP, FUMBLE FIASCO. I am still blinded by the smoke Machine.

Irelands most magical: Fontaines D.C returns to AUS/NZ this March with 2024’s ‘ROMANCE’ dominating headphone users’ lives since its release.
Those in my life know my biggest photography BLUNDER was Laneway Festival 2023…a clashing set, a stampede, and a smoke machine that made breathing and operating a camera an impossible feat. There I was in front of my #1 post-punk group, my camera broken, my mind frozen, the smoke rising FAR above my measly 5-foot frame. I was consumed by smoke. The stage was a moody DARKlit apocalypse. Before I knew I was being whisked up by a security guard & all I had snapped…was 2 images. I wake up from career-based nightmares 2 years later. How could I fumble my favorites like this?
It’s with my fingers tightly crossed I pray for a do-over as FONTAINES D.C grace our Australian stages this MARCH with their already ICONIC and TIMELESS record, ROMANCE.
